Installation
How We Install It
Moisture Testing
Below-grade and slab-on-grade applications require moisture vapor emission testing to select the appropriate primer system and prevent future delamination.
Surface Prep
Diamond grinding creates the mechanical profile for adhesion. We also address cracks, joint repairs, and surface leveling at this stage.
Base System
The primer and color base coat are applied. For decorative systems, flake or metallic layers are added before the base cures.
Topcoat & Cure
A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat is applied in your selected sheen. Stay off the finished floor for at least 24 hours and wait 72 hours before vehicle traffic.

Yes. Basement floors are one of our most common residential applications. We test moisture vapor emission levels before specifying a system — this is essential for below-grade slabs in Alabama where moisture intrusion is common.
Will epoxy work on my back patio?
Yes. For exterior applications, we use UV-stable polyaspartic systems rather than standard epoxy, which yellows outdoors. Patios and exterior slabs are excellent candidates for concrete coating.
Can you coat floors in a new construction custom home?
Absolutely. We work with custom home builders and homeowners in the finishing stages of new construction. New slabs typically need at least 28 days of cure time before coatings can be applied.
I have a stained concrete floor. Can it be coated?
In most cases, yes. Surface stains are typically addressed during the diamond grinding phase. Oil stains may require a specialized primer before the main coating system. We'll assess this during your free estimate.

What does the lifetime coating warranty cover?
For qualifying installations, our written lifetime coating warranty covers delamination, peeling, and coating failure caused by covered material defects or our installation/workmanship. It does not cover damage from abuse, chemical spills beyond the coating system’s specified use, or structural concrete issues identified and disclosed during the estimate. The written warranty supplied with your estimate or contract controls, including maintenance requirements and the process for reporting a claim.
